Pirouette is a tear down of a magnetic stirrer used in laboratories and re-purposed into a dual-use blender and aerator. Designed with consideration for users’ safety, the salvaged magnetic mechanism is used to propel the blade, enabling removability for cleaning purposes. The magnetic collar encircling the flask which catches the blade when contents are poured out, allowing for ease of retrieval.
