STRATUS is a pedestrian crossing system that employs a LED and misting system projected horizontally along with the pedestrian crossings, where incidents involving unaware right-turning cars are common. By creating an immediate light barrier that effectively captures drivers’ visual space, STRATUS draws their attention to blind spots around corners. Shaped like a leaf, STRATUS is meant to blend harmoniously with CIRRUS.
